Our № 27 Botanicals Tonic Kit ZERO Calorie features LAKANTO's MonkFruit Sweetener instead of traditional sugar, creating a unique zero-calorie option. MonkFruit's sweetness comes from mogrosides—compounds that your body processes as an herb rather than sugar. This makes it ideal for those managing blood sugar levels or weight, as it doesn't affect blood glucose or trigger insulin response. Please note, syrups made with MonkFruit may crystallize when cold.

Storing & Serving Suggestions for Syrups Made with Monk fruit

For optimal storage and serving, we recommend freezing your MonkFruit syrup in silicone ice cube trays. This method not only preserves the syrup's quality but also creates perfectly portioned servings for your cocktails.

When preparing your drink, begin by scraping the frozen syrup directly from the ice cube tray into your glass, followed by adding your chosen spirit. The frozen syrup will naturally dissolve as you stir it with the spirit, creating a smooth blend. To maintain the effervescence of your cocktail, first add your club soda to this mixture, and only then complete your drink with ice. This sequence is crucial because pouring club soda over ice would cause the carbonation to dissipate, resulting in a less vibrant drink. This method allows you to craft perfectly balanced cocktails with maximum carbonation every time.

Suggested Amounts for Drinks

Imbibing

1/2 oz Tonic Syrup + 3 oz Soda Water + 1 3/4 oz Gin. + Brandied Cherry & Grapefruit Twist.

Non-Imbibing

6 oz Soda Water + 1 oz Tonic Syrup + Lemon or Grapefruit Twist.

Add tonic syrup and spirit into a tall glass. Stir to mix the ingredients. Add club soda to the mix. Then, place the cubes of ice in the glass last (pouring club soda over ice will fizzle the bubbles away). Garnish with a brandied cherry and a twist of lemon or grapefruit peel.
